Heavenly Valley

Heavenly Valley is located in the Lake Tahoe basin. It is a beautiful resort covered among coniferous forests and snow capped mountains which serve as an ideal skiing location. The resort is located between the borders of California and Nevada and attracts thousands of ski enthusiasts from all over the world. Skiing in Heavenly valley is a wonderful experience and the vast snow-covered surroundings offer a thrilling skiing experience.

The summit elevation at Heavenly Valley is 10,040 ft and base elevation is 6,540 ft. The place receives an annual snowfall of around 914 cm but also has extensive snow making capability, being able to make snow on 69% of is terrain. It is nice to have one of America’s largest snow making systems for when the snow is a bit scarce.. Heavenly valley provides a vast ski able area of about 4,800 acres, one of the larger resorts in North America. The percentage of trails offered for beginner, intermediate and expert skiers are varied. Out of the total ski able area green runs account for 20%, blue runs 45% and black runs 35%. The ski season begins in mid November and continues until early May. Week day ski operations begin at 9 am and end at 4 pm, on the weekend however skiing at Heavenly Valley starts at 8:30 am.

You can enjoy fully furnished lodgings with all the amenities, or go for some of the more modest accommodations.
